But on January 14 at 7 p.m., at Hospice of Petaluma, author Laurelee Roark will discuss her memoir “Your Name is Edith,” which chronicles her journey caring for her dying mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease.

    A lifelong artist, Pamela Borne has been creating art since she was old enough to hold a pencil. “When I was four, I went to a birthday party on the beach in Sydney (Australia). They had little pony rides and I started drawing there. I always painted but didn’t have any success until I started at the JC (Santa Rosa Junior College). I’ve been taking classes there ever since.
